You Can Help
When it comes to our kids, we meet them where they
are. Wherever they are in their lives - that's where we start.
The same is true when it comes to you. Whatever your talents or
whatever you can offer us, we'll meet you where you are. There are some
needs that you can help fill!
The following are a few examples of special gifts you can make for the
children at Boles Children's Home:
- Monthly contributions
- Special gifts at Christmas and other holidays
- Funds for school supplies and clothing
- Sponsor a child with birthday, Christmas and school needs
- Funds for attending summer Christian camp
- Grant a wish from the wishlist
- Arrange for "Special Needs Drive" for items with high volume
usage such as sugar, laundry detergent, etc.
- Make a donation to the Birthday Party Closet
- Assistance with children coming into the program who may not have
clothing or other basic needs
- Graduation gifts for Boles graduates
- Assistance with clothes for college, furnishings for their dorm
room
- Participate in quarterly food drives
- School supplies drive for back to school
- Donations of sports equipment for on campus use
- Sponsor a child for summer camp, TREK, or missions
The following are areas where you can lend your talents in service to
Boles Children's Home:
- Honoring children on their birthday with a card - by cottage or
by campus
- Preparing baked goods - cakes, cookies, pies, candy, sponsoring
"sweets-n-treats" drive
- Office assistance for mailings and other needs
- Plan a special night for a cottage with a meal, games, movies,
etc.
- Maintenance assistance - landscaping, painting, repair work,
wallpapering
- On campus activities for the children - bring a picnic lunch,
play games, plan a devotional
- Prepare a meal for the Sunday night "Together for Christ" program
- Volunteer to assist with special events such as dinners, golf
tournaments, or other events
- Provide holiday treats for Valentines, Eastor, or other special
days
If you have special skills that you would like to offer or have other
ideas we will be happy to work with you to provide an opportunity for
service.
