Mother/Child Program
Designed to assist single mothers, who are struggling to meet their responsibilities, this ministry is an effort to equip them with the skills necessary to live independently with their children.
Appropriate referrals to the program include mothers who:
Are having difficulty providing for the physical needs of their children
Can make use of the resources and opportunities provided in order to return to the home community with greater ability to provide for their family
Are seeking educational and job training in order to become financially independent
Are willing to grow spiritually and participate in worship and spiritual activities on a regular basis
Services provided:
Physical assistance (housing, utilities, groceries, clothing,
transportation) as needed for a specific period of time.
Structured program within the total milieu of Boles
Children's Home
Vocational training to prepare the single mom to be successful in earning a living for herself and her children
Public school system, Pre-K through Twelfth grade, located
close to Boles Children's Home.
Case management services, counseling, psychiatric services, psychological testing, adventure learning activities
G.E.D. training/Computer training class
Arts and crafts programs
Classes in parenting skills, self-esteem, social skills, and
anger management
Worship, spiritual training and activities on campus
