WHERE CHILDREN HAVE A HOME BECAUSE CHRISTIANS HAVE A HEART
Residential Group Care

Boles Children's Home provides daily care for residents, including shelter, food, clothing, medical care, supervision, and education. A continuum of care is offered, according to need for supervision and structure.

The campus programs have therapeutic components, however, Boles Childrens Home remains, true to its identity and heritage, a home for children. This includes an atmosphere of warmth and stability, with opportunity for long-term relationships, a sense of belonging in a family stetting an d within a larger community. Graduates can expect a long-term commitment from staff who can continue to assist them in college or vocational training and continuing meaningful relationships far into adulthood.

A multi-disciplinary, professionally-trained staff, carefully selected for their competence and commitment, utilize cutting-edge technical skills and training to provide leadership of the teamwork mobilized to provide care to the children and families. Boles' philosophy is based on a synthesis of principles adapted from professional social work, from thoroughly-researched cognitive-behavioral, skill-based intervention methods, from systems theory developed by marriage and family therapists, from strength-based Adventure Learning models of growth, within a framework provided by dynamic Christian ideas and values. With ample time allowed to accomplish substantial goals, and with a high ratio of staff to residents, this integrated approach allows each child or parent to receive quality care attuned to his or her individual needs.
